Identifying Bessler’s Clues and Trying to Interpret them,

We who have researched the legend of Bessler’s wheel are firmly convinced that the device was genuine and the inventor’s claims true.  This, of course, goes against the published opinion of the world of science.  They have thoroughly denounced such devices as fraudulent and impossible. However a serious consideration of the evidence casts doubt on the professional opinion of these “experts”.

Johann Bessler spent an extraordinary amount of time writing his books, embedding numerous clues of an extremely diverse nature in both texts and graphics, all done to ensure that even after his death his clues would be found, deciphered and a version of his gravity wheel built and his name for ever be acknowledged as the true inventor of the gravitywheel.

So I too have spent many years finding and interpreting a host of clues which I always believed might/will eventually lead me to build a working model.

The clues I’ve found are visible to anyone once they are pointed out.  Some I may have deciphered or interpreted wrongly, but they are clearly real and not invisible.  These are not the same as other clues suggested by followers of a more mystical method which relies on psychic prediction.  These are invisible to the naked eye and therefore of little use in persuading non-mystics among the general public of our persuasion that the wheel was real.

Only the visible clues are helpful and even then they baffle us as to their correct meaning.

There is only one true way of persuading the world at large that Bessler’s wheel was genuine and that is to build a replica that actually works.  I have built many replicas that don’t work!

Of course if one of the more mystical revelations should lead to a working model, I would immediately and gladly accept that they were right and I was wrong!

JC

  1. So where are all of the clues you promised to show us? I don't see any in this blog! 🔍👀❓❓❓

    1. The clue is Physics will solve the puzzle of Bessler's runner.

    2. Those new clues are actually there in this new blog, anon 19:23. But, they are invisible to the naked eye. You will have to use your psychic "third eye" to see them.

    3. For those having trouble activating their sluggish psychic third eye, follow these simple instructions:

I've been using the instructions daily, but so far my opened third eye has not been able to tell me what the next jackpot winning combination of numbers will be in my state lottery. But, I will keep trying...maybe I haven't opened it enough yet?

  2. No one’s identification of or interpretation of his clues has been fruitful yet. As with the patent office, it takes a physical wheel to show those clues. No one has one.
More than likely only one identification and interpretation is right.

    1. There could be someone out there right now with a working pm wheel only we don't know about it because he's not babbling on about it on bwf or anywhere else and he's in no hurry to reveal it. Maybe he's quite content to just have it spinning away on his workshop table and accessible to no one but himself? Not everyone is in a rush to get patents and start profiting off of their invention. The question is, if such an invention now exists, is it identical to what Bessler had? If Bessler's suggestion that he had the only design that could ever work is true, then yes it must be identical. If Bessler was wrong about that, then that modern inventor could have a different working design.

The key to any successful "gravity enabled" pm wheel is to maintain the imbalance of the cog of its various weights as the wheel rotates so it can continuously output mechanical energy. Unfortunately, that is impossible unless during rotation the descending side weights lose MORE gpe than the ascending side weights gain back even though the weights on both side of the axle fall and rise through the SAME vertical distance. Of course, your immediate knee jerk response to a statement like that is that it cannot be done because this is what your "teachers" kept telling you during your school days, right? BUT, surprise, Bessler found a way to do it!

All of the weight levers within a rotating pm wheel must be swinging about their pivots at different rates and in different directions from each other in such a way as to always keep their collective cog on the descending side of the wheel. Bessler used his revolutionary "connectedness principle" to achieve this situation, but, other than mentioning it once by name in an MT note, he gives no details of it in his other writings. Find the details of his connectedness principle and you will find the secret of his pm wheels.

I had a diagram I downloaded from some website, not bwf or this blog, years ago that shows what Bessler's Connectedness Principle was supposed to look like and that was based on certain hard to find clues he left in his drawings. I'm not sure if I saved it and if I did where it is now or if it's still on my last burned out laptop that I discarded last year. I'll have to rummage around and see if I can find it and if I can I'll provide a link to it here. IIRC, it used multiple ropes between the weight carrying levers and also springs on each lever. I agree with you that finding that principle and duplicating it is the key to solving the Bessler pm wheel mystery.

    3. Yes, anon 16:48, PLEASE do look hard for that diagram you claim you had years ago showing Bessler's connectedness principle. If it uses previously unknown clues, then it could be very important and the breakthrough we've all be looking for. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! 🤞

    4. omg the gents magazine design of 1751 was right along lol

    5. No, the diagram I have or had is not this one from that 1751 magazine which is rather ingenious:

      https://www.antiquemapsandprints.com/cdn/shop/files/P-6-019039a.jpg?v=1748739740&width=2000

In that one it looks like the cog of its 13 weights should be located on the right and descending side of the wheel. The weight falling away from the center of the axle after 3:00 is supposed to result in the other weights from 5:00 up to about 8:00 all being pulled up and closer to the axle center at the same time. That, however, is impossible unless the amount of gpe lost by that one weight moving outward and downward as it passes 3:00 can supply the total increase in the gpe of all of the other weights moving between 5:00 and 8:00 as they all gradually rise closer to the center of the axle during wheel rotation. If the design did work, then the cog of its weights would be located almost right below the center of the wheel's axle and the torque would be very low at best. Despite that though, JC might want study this particular pm wheel design. It might contain a principle he can use to resuscitate his recently failed "Bessler Workaround 1.0".

  3. that's right . they're are all figments of the imagination until a physical wheel is produced to confirm what were actual clues and what were bovine scat

    1. I think imagination is very important for the Bessler pm wheel chaser. Einstein said "Imagination is more important than knowledge" by which he emphasized that while knowledge is limited to what we currently understand, imagination allows us to explore new possibilities and ideas. This perspective highlights the importance of creativity in driving innovation and progress. So if someone here reveals the latest figment of his imagination, I'm willing to give him a fair hearing just as I hope he will do when I reveal my latest figment of my imagination.

  4. I find it hard to accept most of the clue narratives that aren't Bessler's own quotable words , the issue for me is "interpretation" - which is also the issue for me if someone finds anything interesting in a mechanical design they start linking all kinds of "clues" subject to "interpretation" to it which is bogus imo , i understand the effort of trying to uncover the truth but i think most people reach a little too far .

    1. I agree that any interpretations not confirmed by simming or actual building are of little value. But, they are not completely worthless either. I always want to read what someone's justification is for a particular interpretation he has made. Some people's reasons are just pure and obvious nonsense, but others can be quite well thought out. I think it depends on the person's level of education. The higher the education, especially in something like engineering, the more logical the interpretations can sound. That doesn't automatically mean that they are valid, but they can give us more to think about which can then help us with our own interpretations.

    2. I find it interesting too , and i enjoy the opinions too , it is just the "its an absolute correct certainty that i am correct even though Bessler never said or wrote what i am talking about" theme which usually accompanies those opinions or interpretations , for example "Bessler did or Bessler meant" - being drawn from interpretations and such ..

    3. Yes, it's the inability to remain arms length and objective.

A lie told often enough becomes the truth" . Frequent repetition of a falsehood causes some people to accept it as fact, regardless of actual evidence, or lack of. It describes how propaganda, misinformation, and familiarity can override critical thinking and shape public opinion or perceived reality.

    4. @anon 19:13. We're living in a world where all truths are becoming opinions waiting to be falsified by the loudest and most persistent contradictory voices in the media. This does not apply just to politics, it's becoming rampant in medicine and even the physical sciences. Maybe those pushing the various religions for millennia had it right? The "truth" is whatever people want it to be and those that can direct what people want the truth to be can make a very comfortable living off of it. Just ask the rich and powerful who live in mansions and palaces about that...
