The Johann Bessler Video

I'm still working on my video. I never realised how hard it is to get something that looks good in writing, not to look too long winded when spoken. I have tried to cut the wordiness down as much as possible without losing the important information as well as the viewers attention. I am supposed to limit it to fifteen minutes and so far I'm on seventeen. A few more judicious snips of the editing tool, and it'll be ready for youtube!

My family asked me why I am writing this blog and yet I haven't advertised the fact, well the answer is simple. I don't want to tell anyone about it yet until I can look back at it and think, maybe its ok - or maybe I'll just delete it and say nothing!

There is also the fact that as time goes by, I shall add more information about Bessler's Code, and of course once the video is on youtube and I can see how many viewings (if any!) it gets, I might tell someone about the blog - or not.

A Paper on the Bessler/Orffyreus Code

I've made a decision over the weekend. I am writing a document which will detail the information I have deciphered from Johann Bessler's books and I am going to share it with somone who has provided many years of encouragement to me. He is in a position to fund research into this project in a way I never could. I believe that I would have succeeded eventually but times are hard and that is why I have decided to take what I hope will be a short cut to success.

I trust that this will lead to a valuable reconstruction of Bessler's machine. If it does I believe it will go a long way towards solving the energy crisis, not perhaps for industrial usage, but certainly for domestic users. If it doesn't, I still think that progress has been made, because much of what I have discovered makes perfect sense.

Information I have about Bessler's machine has been burning a hole in my pocket for about four years and I have almost given it away several times before deciding against sharing because I wanted to have the credit for the discoveries. However as I said above, time is running out and the sooner we can all start to use an alternative energy that is non-polluting and freely available, the better. This is more important than my personal feelings of achievement.

Later I might regret this decision but I hope not and I think not.

A Video about Johann Bessler aka Orffyreus

I'm busy making a video about Johann Bessler aka Orffyreus, for presentation to a group of retired engineers in Florida in March. I've never made one before so its a bit of a steep learning curve. I have threatened to post it to youtube once its been seen by the retirees. We'll see. Maybe, maybe not. It all depends on how embarrassing its going to be for me!

I set out with the intention of making it about three minutes long but its already six minutes and growing. I guess once I've recorded it I'll take the editing knife to it. Watch this space.

Designs for Bessler's Wheels

I received an email today with a design which the sender believes is how Bessler's wheel worked. I studied it with my usual care but as usual found little to get excited about. I lost my hard drive last year and although I recovered all of my documents, unfortunatley I was unable to save my emails since 1997! This was a tremendous blow because I reckon I had in excess of a 100 perpetual motion designs sent to me over the years.

As it happens, none of them would have solved the problem of Bessler's wheel but I always live in hope that someone will come up with the answer one day.

I still have an amazing collection of designs snail mailed to me from when I used to have my PostBox address on line. Again they are wonderfully drawn and show an impressive imagination but all would remain resolutely stationary if they were built.

I hope this trend to design would-be perpetual motion machines continues because I'm a firm believer that when the solution is found it will come from the 'little guy' working on his own in his work shop. Maybe some one like me or you perhaps?

Johann Bessler or Orffyreus - Introduction

Why am I writing a blog? I'm not sure, I don't even know for sure what's going to be in it, but I do know that someone (me!) has to get people interested in Johann Bessler also known by the weird name Orffyreus.

Having spent most of my life researching the history of this man, I decided to set it all down in a book. The book covers everthing I could find about Bessler but it only scratches the surface of the facts regarding his codes. Yes, he left information about the secret of his machine encoded in his own writings

This guy holds the secret to our future energy needs. The fact that he's dead is something of a stumbling block but don't let that put you off. It seems that he left pointers to his secret so all we have to do is find the information, decipher it and build our super new machine for supplying energy.

Oh! Did I say he died nearly three hundred years ago? No? Sorry. Fortunately he left behind a huge collection of clues, hints and mysterious pictures all of which form part of the mystery - and the answer.

I call it The Orffyreus Code! I know everyone's got codes in their titles, but this one is a real code

Now, I've been ranting and raving about good old Johann since 1997 and those who have followed my lead and are now devoted fans form an enormous minority of the worlds population at about 0.000034%. and climbing! Maybe there should be a couple more zeros in there?
